I was wondering why I wasn't getting emails, changed the settings, then remembered why I'd turned it off as got dozens of email notifications from the newsletters I've subscribed to...

I’m wondering if it’s possible to turn off or fine tune the email notifications Substack send out as a few of my subscribers have turned off emails as a result.

I just did remember, that there is a Documentally book in the pipeline somehow?

Still really looking forward to it. 😊

Stuck in the pipeline. I'm sat in the corner of my new 'den' and it's still all boxes. My journals are somewhere in the chaos.

Jolie Holland! I last saw her live last October I think at a very small venue with an audience of 40 people. Bought two t-shirts. Also chatted with her and my collegue made us take a selfie. I adore her so much. Her music goes deep. ❤️

The dieection your life takes over there sounds very good indeed. Somehow good news I really aporeciate, since I get so many bad news these days.

I don't think I can properly express how much I enjoyed reading that old blog-post-snippet. 🙂

Sundays.. I have to get up 5 AM for work so am not really able to use the Sunday evening as if Mondays never comes. I tend to do it anyway. Haha.

Cullen Skink at the cafe by the harbour in St Abb’s is really good - it it was 3 summers ago when I ate it. Have you been to North Berwick yet? So nice.

Get a proper chainsaw, learn a few do’s and don’ts in its use. Take a class? Nonsense! That’s a distraction. You’re already used to getting wounded. Merely a flesh wound! Don’t be silly. It’s a tool, not a monster. It does your bidding. Be intentional and purposeful with it, like we all arguably should be with everything in life, and the chainsaw will serve you well. I have three gas powered chain saws and two battery ones. I keep them all busy and take care of them. They are happy as dogs when given a challenge, and so should you be!

Hi Brian, and thanks for the comment. I do technically have a chainsaw but it’s a cabled electric one. I’ll happily use that ground level but the course I’m talking about is more about working at height. Some of the trees encroaching on the house are at least 30 foot higher than house itself.😳 I think I would benefit from a Rob access course.

Oy! Working on something that high up is more than a course. It’s like a curse. haha I probably would save up and hire someone who enjoys such acrobatic trimming, as I sure don’t, at my age anyway.

I’d love to be at thinking digital. Especially as now for me it’s so close, but unable to take the time off. ☹️
